Greetings! Here are a couple wonderful pictures that I captured this week. We have had a horrible drought here in Texas for over a year now and we just got our first rain of the year several weeks ago and the landscape is starting to show it. It has been beautiful here this week with the purple blooming bushes. The bushes you see in the pictures are of Texas Sage ( Leucophyllum frutescens) AKA barometer bush, purple sage, Texas ranger and as we locals here call it Ceniza. The blossom of the bush are edible and I have heard that many people around here in the 1800's and early 1900's would make tea out of them.
I am about to add many products to my zazzle site with these pictures, there will also be posters available.
I also will be adding the pictures to my Imagekind site as well so if you would like a framed print they will be available soon.
